Barauni Thermal Power Plant Unit 7 of Bihar State Electricity Board was successfully commissioned at full load of 110 MW after 72 hours of Trial Run. Satnam Global was responsible for full Renovation of Balance of Plant including Fuel Oil System, Coal Handling Plant with Wagon Tipler an all conveyors, all support systems including Cooling water, DM Water, Fire Fighting, Plant Air & Instrument air, Ash Handling. All Electricals such as HT < Switchgear & Panels changed. All transformers including Generator Transformer of 220 kV 140 MVA,Utility & Station Transformer overhauled. The project was executed under BHEL who were the main R&M agency. The work of commissioning of another 110 MW unit under this order is ongoing.
SGIL has received a repeat order from Saint Gobain Glass for Plant Piping and Material handling system to cater for expanded plant capacity.
